Aspadol 100 mg is a powerful analgesic that alleviates moderate to severe pain. It acts by attaching to opioid receptors in the brain and spinal cord, which reduces pain perception. Tapentadol has two mechanisms of action. In addition to its opioid receptor action, it prevents the reuptake of norepinephrine, a neurotransmitter implicated in pain regulation. This dual action makes it more successful in treating numerous types of pain, including neuropathic pain. Aspadol/Tapentadol is useful in treating a variety of pain conditions, including acute pain (postoperative or injury-related pain), chronic pain (neuropathic or musculoskeletal pain), and cancer pain. Constipation is a typical complication of opiate use. Tapentadol may produce less severe constipation than other opioids because of its dual mode of action.
